Coach Edward McCormick returns for his second year as program director for rowing at Medford High School.  The past year has included expanding the amount of program equipment, development of a summer community-based rowing program, a focus on the environmental concerns that face the Mystic River, and the growth and development of athletes and their program at Medford.

Coach McCormick has spent much of the past 28 years developing new rowing programs and assisting in their growth to a regionally and nationally competitive level.  Over the next year, he looks forward to expanding the high school rowing program with the assistance of the school administration, the Friends of Medford Rowing booster organization, and officials from the City of Medford.

When not coaching rowing in Medford, Coach McCormick splits his time between teaching Psychology and History at the high school in Manchester, NH and completing his Masters in Sports Leadership at Northeastern University in Boston.
